Submission Details

Abstracts in English or French must be submitted through the Call for Abstracts page of the GeoManitoba 2025 conference website. Authors will be asked to indicate the technical theme under which they wish their paper to be presented.

The deadline for submission of abstracts is January 15, 2025. Invitations for full submissions will be sent by February 19, 2025 to authors whose abstracts are accepted by the conference's Technical Committee. For CGS themes, full technical papers will be required. For CPA themes, full papers or extended abstracts (1-2 pages) will be required.

Guidelines for the preparation and submission of technical papers and extended abstracts will be posted in early 2025. Authors of accepted abstracts must submit their full paper or extended abstract by April 30, 2025, along with at least one full conference registration. Authors are expected to present their paper/extended abstract during the conference via an oral or poster presentation.

The GeoManitoba 2025 Technical Committee will review all papers/extended abstracts for clarity, technical merit, and relevance to the conference. Our goal is to inform each corresponding author of their paper/extended abstract's acceptance by June 25, 2025. In cases where the reviewing team feels revisions are necessary, online comments will be provided. All authors must submit a final paper/extended abstract by July 9, 2025.

Final decisions regarding the technical merit, relevance, and assigned session topic for accepted papers are the responsibility of the Technical Committee.
